On August 11,  ten students from our school went to the Hamilton Badminton Staduim and compete on the Inter-Intermediate Badminton. The teams that are there were Peachgrove Intermediate, Melville Intermediate, Cambridge Intermediate, Matamata Intermediate and Te Awamutu Intermediate. Our first game started with Peachgrove. They got really good players. We lose to them by 1-6. Next, we were against Melville and we won 6-1. Then, we played Matamata. They were very good and hard to beat. And, we lose 1-6. Our last game was against Cambridge and we beat them by 6-1. Overall, it was a good game played by allof us.

This weekend I was at our new house in Hamilton fixing some stuff and helping my Dad. We went to the ceiling helping the electrician with the sensor lights and fan at the bathroom. It was fun up the ceiling the ventilation was so soft that I kind of liked it up there but, when the I so two dead rats I think that I didn’t what to stay there anymore. Eventhough,we still have to finished what we started. Our house is located in Meville, Hamilton and I think it was quite a peaceful town. I think that the house was quite good and was beautiful(not). Overall I really don’t want to leave T.A. but, it’s better to own a house than renting a house.

Last term we won the Inter-Class Soccer by 2-1. Before that happen we have to faced off Room 15 and Room 10 at the semis. We have draw a game with room 15 and 3-1 by us with room 10. On the finals we have to faced off with Room 15 again to win the title of the Inter-Class Soccer. So, at lunchtime we played them. It was a tough game that we to all be alerted had to stay back if we have to. The half time past and we scored 1-0. Half time was over and most of us had a hard time both on offense because its kind of easy to kick itto the goal, but, it’s hard to get it up there and defense which is keep the ball from getting a goal. Although, we are defense is hard the still past it and draw us again by 1-1. After that there’s maybe about 5 minutes left till the game is over. Eventhough that happened we some got the ball up the field and managed to score a goal and everyone is happy that we have got the Inter-Class Soccer.

We hope to win the 2 Inter-Class Sports, both netball and cross country/marathon and maintain the record of 7 straight win in a row and make it 8 straight win in a row in cross country.

China’s one child policy is designed to control the population of China. China’s government introduced this policy in 1979. The population of China is 1.3 billion and if the Chinese government didn’t approved the policy, maybe the population of China now will be about twice as much as the 1.3 billion population.  On the other hand, Chinese couple generally wants a boy for a child because girls are thought to be useless since they are not allowed to work. This is the reason why about 60% of the pregnant women want to have a boy.  And because of the one child policy, the pregnant women when they found out through ultrasound that they are carrying a baby girl want to have abortion.  Now some of the Chinese believe that the policy should be aborted.

In my opinion, the policy should be changed , but not abort it. Because if they totally remove the policy, then probably China’s population in 2010 would probably be about 3 billion.

The China’s Great Wall was the first man-made thing that is ever seen in the moon. It was made in Qi, Yan and Zhao state in the 5th century BC to 221 BC by Qin Dynasty, it was built on the borders of China excluding the border of Tibet . It was made to protect China from the enemies outside it border. So, how come they’re saying that Tibet was theirs when you can see its not? how they got the muscle to says Tibet was always part of China when its outside the Great Wall of China?

In my opinion, China making us believe that Tibet was part of them by showing us that there’s Chinese in Tibet, but, when you looked closely the Tibetan people actually look more like Mongols or Mongolians. So, what do you think does Tibet is part of China or is it all a joke? It’s your choice to believe.

Here’s a website where you can find out about or you can just search it. But, I prefer this one.

The Inter-Class Softball finished last two weeks and we had won it. After the game we are so happy because the game only last a couple of minutes and the score is 1:0 for us. In the softball finals our class faced Room 1. Some of the student of other classes are watching them play. It was shocking when it started. The first to bat is the other class, no score. Then it was our turn to bat and still no score. On the second innings the batting team (the other class) still did not score but when we where batting we scored 1 then we got out. On the third inning no one scored and that was how we won the softball.

The coming Inter-Class sport is Soccer. I hope we will win this one too.

Softball is one of not so popular games in New Zealand. Its like baseball but the ball is a lot softer that the baseball. In my school in Te Awamutu we had what you called a Inter-class softball where classes versus each other. When I first landed on New Zealand, I have no idea a lot of sports that they play here and one of the sport I can’t really understand was softball. It is hard to play at the first time but every-time you play it you master it. Still, I’m that very good. my class was competing at the Inter-class softball and we already won 2 games and hoping to win it all. I’m going to update you every week so keep looking on the following 7 weeks.
